Creating Mobile Templates

You can create templates for banner and preference centers to easily implement mobile consent and preference selection on your mobile apps.

To add a template

  1. On the Cookie Consent menu, select Templates. The Templates list screen appears.

  2. Click the Add New button. The Template modal appears.

  3. Select the type of base template you want to us, then click the Next button. The Name the Template screen appears.

    Template

    Description

    Generic Cookie Banner

    This will create a template with only cookie categories. It is recommended for use as a Global template. This template is GDPR compliant.

    GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Template

    This will create a template with only cookie categories. You may enable IAB at any time. This template is GDPR compliant.

    IAB Transparency and Consent Framework 1.0

    This will create a template for IAB Transparency and Consent Framework 1.0 based on recommended settings from the policy's user interface guidelines. Note: this will be sunset in the first half of 2020.

    IAB Transparency and Consent Framework 2.0

    This will create a template for IAB Transparency and Consent Framework 2.0 based on recommended settings from the policy's user interface guidelines

    CCPA Template (California)

    This will create a template with verbiage, category groupings, and settings that match more closely with the California law.

    LGPD Template (Brazil)

    This will create a template with settings and content to meet Brazil’s LGPD regulation. The default language will be automatically set to Portuguese, but this setting can be changed if needed.

  4. Complete the fields to add details about your template.

    Description

    Template Name

    Enter the name of the template.

    Organization

    Select the organization that is responsible for the template.

    Default Language

    Select the language that will serve as the default for the template.

    Note

    The default language is the primary language for the template. You can configure additional languages and language options later in the template configuration process.

  5. Click the Create button. The Template Details screen appears.

    Note

To edit Template Details

  1. On the Cookie Consent menu, select Templates. The Templates screen appears.

  2. Hover over the row for the template you want to edit until the Context Menu icon appears.

  3. On the Context menu, select Edit Template. The Edit Template modal appears.

  4. Update the Template Name and Organization as needed.

  5. Click the Save button.

To delete a template

  1. On the Cookie Consent menu, select Templates. The Templates screen appears.

  2. Hover over the row for the template you want to delete until the Context Menu icon appears.

  3. On the Context menu, select Delete Template. A confirmation dialog appears.

  4. Click the Delete button.
