Configuring the Subtask Queue

The Subtask Queue hosts all active subtasks for requests by organization level. This list can be managed with filters and saved views to display certain subtask criteria.

For more information on managing individual subtasks in the queue from the Subtask Pane, please refer to Managing Subtasks in the Subtask Pane.

To manage Subtask Queue views

  1. On the Subtasks screen, click the All Subtasks view selector.

  2. Click the Manage Views button. The Manage Views modal appears.

  3. Make changes, as necessary. For more information see Manage Views Screen Reference.

  4. Click the Save button.

Field

Description

My Default View

Select the view that you want displayed by default.

View Name

Edit the name of the selected view.

Click the Update button to apply your changes.

Delete View

Click the Delete View to delete this view.

To filter views for the Subtask Queue

You can organize the subtasks that appear in the Subtask Queue. You can also customize your own personal view setting to manage the volume of created subtasks.

  1. On the Subtasks screen, click the All Subtasks to open the subtask view selector.

  2. To create a custom subtask filter view, apply your filters, then click the Save As button. The Create View modal appears.

  3. Enter a name for your view, then click the Create View button. The custom filter is now available.

To add filters to the Subtask Queue

You can create filters with dynamic values for the Subtask Queue to populate relevant criteria.

Note

Click the Refresh icon refresh-icon.png to refresh the Subtask Queue.

  1. On the Privacy Rights Automation menu, select Subtasks. The Subtasks screen appears.

  2. Click the Filter icon button Filter.png. The Filter pane appears.

  3. Click the Add Filter button.

  4. Select the field or data by which you want to filter. See Available Filters for more information.

  5. Click the Save button.

  6. Click the Apply button.

Available Filters

The following filters can be applied to populate custom views of the Subtask Queue:

  • Assignee

  • Deadline

  • Stage

  • Subtask Status

To export the Subtask Queue

Once the queue is set up with saved views and filters, you can export the displayed subtasks to a .csv file to action on specific assigned tasks.

The list of fields available for export:

  • Task Name

  • Request ID

  • Workflow

  • Stage

  • Assignee

  • Status

  • Subtask Resolutions

  • Required

  • Deadline

  • Activation Date

  1. On the Subtasks screen, click the Export button. The Report Download modal will appear to notify that your export request is being processed.

  2. Click the Alert Center icon Notification_ICon.PNG to open the System Notifications and Subtasks modal and download the report.
